JENNIFER, FOUNDER, SUPERVISOR, CLINICIAN

Jennifer Diotte, RCC, MACP, MPC (cand) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University. Additionally, Jennifer completed the necessary requirements to become a Canadian Sports Psychology Association Mental Performance Consultant (MPC) member in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in psychology. Prior to this Jennifer completed a Community and School Support Worker (CSSW) certificate to work with individuals with special needs. 


Other training Jennifer has pursued includes National Coaching Certification Programs (NCCP) for both adults and youth as well as Precision Nutrition Level 1 (Pn1) - a research based nutrition coaching program. Research continues to point to the importance of including physical activity when promoting  one's mental health and well-being, therefore, Jennifer has catered her education to best support this development for herself and others. 


Throughout Jennifer's career, she has worked with a variety of individuals while supporting them to overcome many different obstacles while promoting overall well-being. Jennifer has experience working with individuals with a wide range of struggles and desired outcomes. She also has experience working collaboratively with doctors, psychiatrists, schools, and teams and would be honoured to support you!

  Jo  is currently a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) graduate student, gaining her experience through ProMentality. With a background in wellness focused courses such as yoga and meditation, and an undergrad degree in Kinesiology she understands the importance of wellness, living one’s best life, and the journey it takes

Currently, she is an elementary school teacher and youth worker. Jo has experience teaching both elementary and secondary students of all ages and abilities. Jo has a passion to assist others on their unique journey of change, growth and development by building and maintaining relationships that have a foundation in empathy, acceptance, and open-mindedness in order for the client to achieve desired outcomes. Simran is a grad student currently enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology with a Minor in Counselling and Human Development, and has a Certificate in Police Studies from Simon Fraser University (SFU). Additionally, she has completed the DBT Skills CE Certificate.   Si

 With this internship, Linda is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), through Yorkville University. Most recently, Linda completed Advanced Motivational Interviewing Skills. She has worked many years as an employment counsellor walking along individuals in their pursuit of work and a meaningful career. 

 With this internship, Linda is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), through Yorkville University. Most recently, Linda completed Advanced Motivational Interviewing Skills. She has worked many years as an employment counsellor walking along individuals in their pursuit of work and a meaningful career. Throughout her career, Linda learned extensively about mental and physical wellness, disability management, addiction, abuse, trauma and grief and loss. Working in the multicultural Fraser valley, she has gained the understanding of  working with diverse population groups. Linda holds a deep sense of genuine empathy that lends itself to providing a warm, nonjudgmental and therapeutic space for clients. Working with ProMentality , Linda will mindfully assist her clients in this change process one step at a time. Linda is grateful to be working with the ProMentality team whose approach to wellness is wholistic and client-centered.

She is a secondary school counsellor in the Abbotsford district, where she has worked to develop programs designed for students who face mental health challenges that are barriers to academic success. In her career, Danae has had the opportunity to collaborate with youth and families seeking to improve overall wellbeing and experience meaningful relationships with themselves and others. Last year, Sara studied abroad in Singapore where she not only gained knowledge of a culture different than hers but an understanding of elder care through her volunteer work. She was a silver medalist at BC Summer Games for Track & Field and attended nationals twice. Sara has a long-standing passion for sports, current interests include kickboxing, soccer, and weightlifting. She is looking forward to learning and growing with the ProMentality Team.

Nicole joined us in the crazy year of 2020 in the midst of the Covid pandemic. At this time, Nicole was a first-year Social Services student completing her Diploma of Social Services through the University of the Fraser Valley. While excited about her internship with ProMentality, she hoped to continue on to complete a Bachelor of Social 

Nicole joined us in the crazy year of 2020 in the midst of the Covid pandemic. At this time, Nicole was a first-year Social Services student completing her Diploma of Social Services through the University of the Fraser Valley. While excited about her internship with ProMentality, she hoped to continue on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work and then a Master's in the future. She has a passion for people and has volunteered in local hospitals, acting as a supporter, and aboard in India with an organization which supports the transition process for women rescued from the sex-trade industry. She believes people have the strength to overcome and move obstacles to strive for their true potentials.
